We offer a BTEC accredited artist development diploma in partnership with MAS Records for music creators aged 16+.
MAS Records is an independent record label and music development program which was set up in 2001. With 20 center’s around the UK, the SongLab is the MAS partner centre for the Birmingham area. At the SongLab, we focus primarily on solo music creators and offer a range of activities which aim to help emerging creators become more self sufficient in their careers in the music industry.
The program includes a range of music business and music performance related workshops and masterclasses, weekly collaboration sessions, recording time, a photo shoot, a song feedback service, live performance opportunities and one to one support sessions with both of our directors. Our approach is to help our artists to prepare, perform, record and market their own projects whilst building a new network of contacts, skills and knowledge.
